The Modern Minimalist Decor Style
If you're looking for a modern home style that is also timeless, classic, and not overly trendy, a simple, minimalist style might be just the right choice for you.
Here's what to incorporate in your home to achieve the look:
- Greenery
- Coffee Table Books
- Natural Textures
- A Neutral Color Scheme
- Few but noteworthy decor pieces, as shown in this photo here
Why consider the modern minimalist style for your home? It's a popular choice because it offers a clean aesthetic and calming atmosphere thanks to the avoidance of clutter and overall simplicity.
Plus, its use of natural textures and greenery is known for mood-boosting and stress-reducing qualities, and the minimizing of decor and clutter improves home functionality as well.
So use these tips as a guide and give it a try!

Back to School, Back to Home Buying
If you're thinking about buying or know somebody who is, here are some key lessons to find your dream home this season:
Lesson One - Don't Guess Your Budget
It can be exciting to start looking at homes online and to imagine yourself in your new space. But you don't want to waste your time or be disappointed if a home isn't within your budget. If you plan to get a mortgage, start with pre-approval! From here, you can confidently move forward with looking at homes in your budget.
Lesson Two - Chat with an Agent Earlier Than You Think
You don't have to be ready to make an offer to get valuable guidance! A local real estate agent can share valuable insight into the local real estate market and what the home-buying process and timeline will look like for you. This can save you time and frustration moving forward if you have the right guidance to begin with!
Lesson Three - Experience the Areas You're Interested In
If possible, get out and visit where you're interested in buying a home. You'll get a much better impression of the lifestyle but also factors that will affect your daily life, like traffic, access to shopping & dining, and more! Can't visit in person? Ask your agent to send you videos or virtual tours!
Lesson Four - Avoid Feeling Overwhelmed by the Process
There are a lot of moving pieces to buying a home. So, instead of trying to figure it out on your own, let's go over your plan moving forward and what to know. That's what I'm here for!
I'm looking for a home that is:
- Located in (INSERT AREA)
- X Beds & X Baths
- X-X square footage
- (Insert Feature. Ex. - a large backyard)
- (Insert Feature. Ex. - near XYZ neighborhood)
- (Insert Feature. Ex - room for a home office)
If your home checks some of those boxes, it could be the one for a homebuyer I'm currently working with. Let's connect and see if selling your home makes sense for you as well!
Thank you!
Thank you for joining me this month! As we gear up for the next season, I look forward to bringing you even more tips, trends, and local insights.
And as always, if you or someone you know has a real estate need or question, I am always here to help!
