A written buyer agreement is designed to bring more clarity and transparency to the real estate transaction.
So, it benefits both the buyer and the agent you're working with by outlining the relationship, duties, and even agent compensation.
Whether you're touring a home in person or event doing a live virtual walkthrough with an agent, a written agreement is a requirement.

✅ Answer: Yes, a written agreement will be required by MLS participants (your buyer's agent) before touring homes once the new NAR rules go into effect.
