Does Your Summer Define Your Year?

We're officially at your mid-year check-in! So, we have to ask—how's it going?

Summer can quickly pass in a blur of activity, both in and out of real estate. Take the time to assess your business and marketing, make any pivots, and try something new to stay motivated!

So, this month, we're sharing some creative ideas to help you out on social, events to reinvigorate your business, and more. Let's dive in -

This section is optional. Delete this text section and image above if you don't want to include.

How To Use: Share any thoughts or insights on what's currently going on in the industry. What are you sharing with your agents right now? You can also use this space for general advice for agents, a look at current trends, market updates, etc that you feel is important to share.

Ever feel overwhelmed or uninspired by social? You're not alone!

So, here's a week of strategically crafted posts designed to engage your sphere and attract new buyers and sellers - all while elevating your personal brand. So, give it a try for yourself -

Monday: Stop Their Scroll With a 'Hello'

  • What to Share: Kick off the week with a post that highlights you, both professionally and personally. Share a few details about your journey in real estate and something personal to connect.
  • Why it Works: People want to get to know you, and sharing personal insights helps build a human connection and trust.
  • Bonus Tip: Hop on a short-form video trend for a creative way to introduce yourself in a modern way that's more fun and less salesy.

Tuesday: Take a Personalized Property Tour

  • What to Share: Tap into the sharability and interest a beautiful home inspires by giving a tour of an active listing, sold home, or new construction model.
  • Why it Works: Local real estate content captures attention, appealing to both buyers and sellers, and can expand your reach.
  • Bonus Tip: Easily have short-form by requesting that your photographer include short (under 15-second) vertical clips along with any traditional video and photos.

Wednesday: Provide Context on The Market

  • What to Share: Post a carousel explaining what current market conditions mean for buyers, sellers, and owners in your area.
  • Why it Works: This positions you as a knowledgeable local expert and provides more value than your traditional "market update" style post.
  • Bonus Tip: Avoid using real estate jargon like average DOM. Instead, use terms that people will understand, such as "how long homes are actively for sale."

Thursday: Be Your Own HGTV

  • What to Share: Share a post featuring a beautifully decorated room with tips on how to recreate the look in any home.
  • Why it Works: This topic is adjacent to real estate with the added benefit of engaging people who might not have an active real estate need. It also performs well on social.
  • Bonus Tip: Head to model homes or even home decor stores to capture photos and videos you can repurpose here.

Friday: Go Behind the Scenes

  • What to Share: Offer a peek into your day as an agent - specifically highlighting how you market a new listing.
  • Why it Works: This gives more potential sellers a look into how you proactively market homes, uniquely demonstrating your expertise and value.
  • Bonus Tip: Film b-roll of you creating marketing materials, meeting with the photographer, staging, or creating 3-D tours. This can be be used in this post and beyond as content for more posts.

Saturday: Explore Local Arts & Culture

  • What to Share: Highlight local museums, theaters, art galleries, or other cultural hotspots. Share why you love these places and recommend them to your audience.
  • Why it Works: This establishes you as a community expert, which is appealing to both buyers and sellers who value local knowledge.
  • Bonus Tip: Tag the local businesses and spots you mention to encourage them to re-share your content and expand your reach.

Sunday: Homeowner Tips

  • What to Share: Round out the week with a post on "5 Smart Ways to Save as a Homeowner" in your area. Provide practical tips that anyone can use.
  • Why it Works: Offers ongoing value and keeps you connected with your sphere, positioning you as a helpful resource beyond just buying and selling homes.
  • Bonus Tip: Make the post hyper-local by including specifics about your area to enhance relevance and engagement.
