So, if you've been busy getting your finances in order and feel like your current space just isn't working, there are two next steps we recommend for you.
Step 1 ✅ Complete your buyer's consultation
Inside, you'll meet with an agent and discuss what the homebuying process will look like for you. You'll go over the timeline, current market conditions, actions you need to take, and get all your questions answered.
Step 2 ✅ Choose your agent and complete a written buyer agreement
Your agent is not only going to be your guide to the market, but they're also your advocate throughout the transaction.
So, make sure to interview agents! And at your buyer's consultation, use this time to make sure you're comfortable with the agent.
Once you're ready to move forward, you'll complete your written buyer agreement.
This document will clearly explain what you can expect from your agent, how the buyer's agent is compensated, and outline how your agent will prioritize your interests through the transaction.

We know that buyers prefer homes that look their best, and staging your home (with even just minor updates) could lead to a higher sales price in a shorter amount of time.
So, these sellers found that making these updates was the right decision for them.
But on the flip side, that same study found that 41% of sellers sold the home as-is without improvements.
Now, before you go remodeling your kitchen, it's best to think about what the potential ROI is on your upgrade.

We're also seeing that it's taking about (X) days for a home to go under contract in our area.

As for home values, this is one that we think you'll want to take notice of!
